We kindly ask you to clear your room by 11.00 am on the day of departure.
Please do not forget to return your room key on departure.
If you are leaving later, you are welcome to leave your luggage at reception.

Pet

Your pet is welcome for an extra charge of € 16.00 per night.
Bringing your pet into the convent garden and to breakfast is not permitted.

Convent Garden & Swimming Pool

The convent garden is open daily from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Our outdoor swimming pool is available from May to September.
Green bath towels and bathrobes are ready for you in the wardrobe.

Bike Rental

8 city bikes and 4 e-bikes are available for an exploration tour through the Wachau.

- E-bike € 34,00 per bike and day

Breakfast

A rich breakfast buffet with regional delicacies awaits you in our restaurant from 7.30 am to 10.00 am.
We are happy to cater for intolerances on request.
On request (order by 9.00 pm the evening before) we can also serve breakfast in your room for a fee of € 8.00.

Beverage & Snack Vending Machine

Instead of the minibar in each room, we offer a large drinks and snack vending machine for all guests on the 1st floor by the exit to the convent garden.
You can take drinks and snacks for yourself around the clock against cash payment.

Room Cleaning

For the sake of the environment, we offer the "Green Option".
This means that if you are staying for several days you can choose not to have your room cleaned every day.
We honour your positive environmental thinking with a small gift.

Check-In

Your room is ready for occupancy on the day of arrival by 3.00 p.m. at the latest.
If you arrive after 6.00 p.m., please let us know.

You will find the "Do not disturb" door hanger on the coat hook in your room.
Do you not want to be disturbed? Then please place it on the outside of your room door.
If the door hanger is on your room door by 2 p.m., we ask for your understanding that your room will not be cleaned on this day.

Parking Space

Parking spaces are available for our hotel guests in our two courtyards. As a hotel guest, you will receive an authorisation card for our hotel car park on arrival.
No liability is taken for parked vehicles.
The parking lots in front of the hotel are accessible at all times.
The gate of the inner courtyard is closed overnight (9.00 pm to 8.00 am).
If you cannot find a parking space, please contact reception.
The parking spaces in the local area are reserved exclusively for residents of Dürnstein.

Air Conditioning

The solid masonry and the favourable location on the Danube river keep our hotel pleasantly cool in summer, so we can do without energy-intensive air conditioning.

Safety

Emergency passport - For your safety, we offer an emergency passport containing important medical information such as allergies, illnesses, medication and emergency contacts. This data helps emergency services to act more quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency. We recommend that our guests complete the emergency passport. Your personal data will be treated confidentially and deleted after your stay.
Defibrillator (AED) - A ready-to-use defibrillator is located on the left-hand side of the house wall, at the entrance to the restaurant terrace. The device is easy to use and gives clear instructions so that even inexperienced people can help quickly in an emergency.

Taxi

We recommend our partner Keyif Taxi Krems.
The cab comes from Krems and has a arrival time of about 15 minutes.

Tap Water

In our house you can drink water from the tap without any problems or worries.
It is top quality and very refreshing.

Room Key

If you go out in the evening, please take your room key with you, as it also opens the main entrance.
Please do not forget to return your room key on departure.

Small delicacies to take away

Would you also like to think of us at home and take a small delicacy with you to enjoy or give as a gift? We have a few ideas: Choose between our house wine, homemade walnut liqueur (with walnuts from the monastery garden) or our delicious apricot jam. Just ask our service staff or at reception.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellations or rebookings will only be accepted in writing.
The right of withdrawal according to § 18 para. 1 no. 10 FAGG does not apply, instead the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry AGBH 2006 or our own cancellation conditions apply.

STANDARD RATE - Valid up to 5 booked rooms

Up to 5 days prior to arrival a rebooking or cancellation can be made free of charge.
4 to 3 days prior to arrival 50 % cancellation fee will be charged.
From 2 days prior to arrival 90 % cancellation fee will be charged.
Late arrival, early departure or no-show will be charged with 100 % cancellation fee.

NON-REFUNDABLE-RATE

A one-off rebooking to another date is possible up to 7 days before arrival.
From 6 days before arrival or in the case of cancellation or no-show, 100% of all booked services will be charged.

GROUPS - Valid from 6 booked rooms

Up to 30 days prior to arrival a rebooking or cancellation can be made free of charge.
29 to 21 days prior to arrival 20 % of all booked rooms/services can be cancelled free of charge, for further cancellations 90 % of the booked rooms/services will be charged.
20 to 7 days prior to arrival 10 % of all remaining rooms/services can be cancelled free of charge, for further cancellations 90 % of the booked rooms/services will be charged.
6 to 4 days prior to arrival 5 % of all remaining rooms/services can be cancelled free of charge, for further cancellations 90 % of the booked rooms/services will be charged.
From 3 days prior to arrival 90 % cancellation fee will be charged.
