Grafenegg Festival
At the Wolkenturm in the Grafenegg castle park, the festival offers a vast array of concerts every Saturday. Enjoy music in the middle of nature in this incomparable ambiance!
Wachau Festival
In the summer months, sophisticated comedies with music are performed in the wonderful Teisenhoferhof.
Melk Summer Theater Festival

Wine Spring Festival
During the Wachau Wine Spring, which takes place at the beginning of May, you can try wines from over 100 participating Vinea Wachau wineries.
Feast of Corpus Christi
The Feast of Corpus Christi is a wonderful and unique celebration in Dürnstein - the branches of cherry trees and oak trees are bedecked (the birch trees, which are common elsewhere, are not frequently found in the Wachau), grass is strewn across the street, and Dürnstein residents wear their beautiful traditional costumes.
Wachau Bike Days
For over 20 years, biking enthusiasts have gotten their money's worth in the Wachau during the Wachau Bike Days, which take place in July and include 3 different routes that lead through the world heritage site of Wachau and the Waldviertel.
"Starnacht aus der Wachau"
In front of the picturesque backdrop of Dürnstein, the "Starnacht aus der Wachau" takes place every September. Stars from the world of pop, rock and hit songs will create a great atmosphere at this music event on the opposite bank of the Danube in Rossatzbach.
Wachau Marathon
For over 20 years, the Wachau marathon has taken place at the end of September. A marathon course, a half marathon, and a quarter marathon lead through one of Europe's most beautiful river landscapes.
