• Please note that our apartments are not equipped with air conditioning.
• Fans are available for warm summer days.

For a comfortable stay, the following amenities are available

Connecting Apartments

• Apartment 1 and Apartment 2, as well as Apartment 2 and Apartment 3, can be connected upon request.
• Please let us know your preference already when making your reservation.

• You will receive your apartment key at check-in at the reception of Hotel Richard Löwenherz.
• Upon departure, please return the apartment key to the reception of Hotel Richard Löwenherz.

WINTER SEASON | 18.10.2026 to 21.04.2027

• Upon arrival, you will find your apartment key in the key safe.
• Please return the key to the key safe upon departure.

SUMMER SEASON | 24.04.2026 to 18.10.2026

Arrival

• The apartments are situated in the historic centre of Dürnstein.
• Please note that it is not possible to drive directly up to the entrance of the apartments.
• For check-in and to collect your keys, you may drive through the pedestrian zone directly to the Hotel Richard Löwenherz and stop there briefly.
• From there, you can easily reach the apartments in a few minutes’ walk.
• Alternatively, you can park your car in one of the designated parking spaces in the village for a brief period to load or unload your luggage.

Check-in

• Your flat will be available from 4 pm on the day of arrival.
• Check-in and key collection take place at the Hotel Richard Löwenherz.
• Flat 1 and 2 are accessed via the main entrance on the left-hand side.
• Flat 3 has a separate entrance to the right of the main entrance.

Parking

• Once you have unloaded, please park your vehicle in one of the public car parks – P1, P2, P3 or P6 – outside the historic town centre.
• The daily charge is currently €12.

WINTER SEASON | 18.10.2026 to 23.04.2027

Arrival

• The apartments are situated in the historic centre of Dürnstein.
• Please note that it is not possible to drive right up to the entrance of the apartments.
• For quick loading and unloading, you can park your vehicle in one of the designated parking spaces in the village.
• From there, you can easily reach the apartments on foot.

Check-in

• Your flat will be available from 4 pm on the day of arrival.
• Check-in is self-service and takes place directly at the flats via a key safe.
• You will find the key to your flat in the key safe to the left of the main entrance.
• You will receive your personal access code in good time before your arrival.
• You can access Apartments 1 and 2 via the main entrance on the left-hand side.
• Apartment 3 has a separate entrance to the right of the main entrance.

Parking

• At Hotel Richard Löwenherz, bicycles are available for rent from around mid-April to mid-October.
• Depending on availability, you can rent a bike directly at the reception or reserve one before your arrival.
• For your cycling tours through the Wachau, we provide 8 city bikes and 4 e-bikes.
• Prices per bike and day:
  • City bike € 15
  • E-bike € 35
• Payment is made directly at Hotel Richard Löwenherz.

• Our apartments allow you to enjoy your stay independently and flexibly.
• Please note that no catering services are provided in the apartments.
• Thanks to our central location, you will find numerous restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity.
• From around mid-April to mid-October, you are also welcome to enjoy culinary delights at Hotel Richard Löwenherz.
• Subject to availability, you can reserve a table for breakfast at an additional charge.
• Breakfast buffet daily from 7:30 am to 10 am
• Prices per person:
  • Children aged 0–5 years: free of charge
  • Children aged 6–14 years: € 15

• As a small welcome gesture, coffee capsules are provided free of charge at the beginning of your stay.

SUMMER SEASON | 24.04.2026 to 18.10.2026

• We kindly ask you to vacate your apartment by 11.00 am at the latest on the day of departure and to settle your bill at the Hotel Richard Löwenherz by that time.
• You can also conveniently pay for any drinks you have consumed there when you check out.
• Please also hand in your flat key at reception when you leave.

Before you leave, we would like to ask you to do the following:

• Load the dishwasher and switch it on
• Empty the fridge
• Place glass bottles in the designated area in the cellar
• Bring the seat cushions inside
• Close the windows
• Lock the doors

WINTER SEASON | 18.10.2026 to 23.04.2027

• We ask that you vacate your flat by 11 am at the latest on the day of departure.
• You can pay for any drinks consumed in cash when you leave.
• Please place the relevant amount in the key safe.
• Please also return your flat key to the key safe when you leave.

Before you leave, we would like to ask you to do the following:

• Load the dishwasher and switch it on
• Empty the fridge
• Place glass bottles in the designated area in the cellar
• Bring the seat cushions inside
• Close the windows
• Lock the doors

• Our tap water is safe to drink and can be enjoyed at any time.
• It is of excellent quality and wonderfully refreshing.

• A ready-to-use defibrillator (AED) is located at Hotel Richard Löwenherz, directly at the entrance to the restaurant terrace.
• The device is easy to operate and provides clear step-by-step instructions to guide you through its use.

• The total amount for your stay must be paid before your arrival.
• Immediately after the start of the chargeable cancellation period, we will attempt to automatically charge the total amount to the credit card provided during the booking process.
• Due to increased security requirements, automatic payments may not always be processed successfully. Therefore, please be aware that we may contact you if an alternative payment method needs to be arranged.
• In this case, payment can be made by bank transfer or via a payment link provided by us.
• If a charge from “Hotel Richard Löwenherz” appears on your credit card statement, there is no reason for concern. Apartments Richard Löwenherz and Hotel Richard Löwenherz use a shared payment system.

• Your four-legged friend is also very welcome at our hotel.
• We charge € 20 per night for dogs.
• To ensure that all guests feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to remove your dog's waste from the garden.

• To ensure that all guests feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to be considerate of one another and to keep noise levels at an appropriate volume, especially during the evening and night hours.
• Larger groups can naturally become a little more lively. Please keep in mind that conversations and music – especially with connecting doors open – can also be clearly heard in the neighbouring apartment.
• We therefore kindly ask you to respect the quiet hours of other guests and to avoid loud music and parties late at night.

Fire extinguisher

• A foam fire extinguisher is available in the apartment for fighting small fires in their early stages, such as fires involving wood or paper.
• Never put yourself in danger in the event of a fire.
• If in doubt, leave the accommodation and call the fire brigade.

Fire blanket

• A fire blanket is located in the kitchen area for fighting small fires in their early stages.
• The fire blanket is made of flame-retardant material and can be used to extinguish a small fire by cutting off the oxygen supply.
• How to use the fire blanket:
  • Pull the fire blanket out of its holder using the designated tabs.
  • Hold the fire blanket in front of your body to protect yourself from flames.
  • Carefully and completely cover the fire with the fire blanket.
  • If it is safe to do so, switch off the heat source (e.g. cooker).
  • Leave the fire blanket in place and do not lift it until the fire area has cooled down completely.
  • In the event of a larger fire or one that cannot be controlled immediately, leave the accommodation and call the fire brigade.

• The Restaurant Richard Löwenherz is open for you from around mid-April to mid-October.
• It is located in the nearby Hotel Richard Löwenherz and can be easily reached on foot from our apartments.

• Each apartment has its own private terrace.

Garden

• The garden is available for all guests to enjoy.
• Please access the garden only via the designated paths and take appropriate care.

• The tourist tax of €2.60 per person per night (for guests aged 15 and over) is included in the price.
• From 2027, the tourist tax will increase to €2.70 per person per night.

• Each apartment features a wine fridge stocked with selected regional wines and fine juices – perfect for enjoying special moments in the comfort of your accommodation.
