What we do in the hotel
Apricots, figs and walnuts from our monastery garden make their way onto the breakfast table. Wherever possible, we source everything else from local producers in the Wachau. Our outdoor pool is warmed by the sun, and room cleaning is available whenever you would like it.

Fruits from our garden
In our hotel’s own garden, right next to the Danube, the apricots, figs, plums and walnuts for which the Wachau region is famous thrive, depending on the season. Depending on the season, the fruit can be found fresh from the harvest as a healthy and appetising extra on our breakfast buffet and is transformed into delicious desserts in our kitchen.
Wachau apricot jam
We make our apricot jam ourselves, mainly for one reason: it is part of the tradition of our house. Our chef prepares it according to an old family recipe, without preservatives, and fills it into jars that we reuse again and again. And quite simply, it tastes wonderful.
Energy efficiency
Our outdoor pool in the monastery garden is unheated, so you can enjoy a refreshing swim in water warmed naturally by the sun.

Room cleaning
For stays of several nights, you can choose to skip daily room cleaning.
Towel service
If you would like to reuse your towels, please hang them back up. If you would like fresh towels, please leave your used towels on the bathroom floor.
