• Our rooms are equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable temperature even on warm days.
• The air conditioning remote control is located next to your room door.

Arrival by car

• As a hotel guest, you are permitted to drive through the pedestrian zone of Dürnstein directly to the hotel at any time.

Check-in

• Your room is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival.
• If you are arriving after 6:00 pm, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance.
• You can conveniently provide your pre-check-in details in your personal guest area up to 3 days before arrival.
• Alternatively, you can use our online check-in service. Two days before your arrival, you will receive an email with all important information.

Parking

• A maximum of one parking space per room is available in one of our two courtyards from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival until 11:00 am on the day of departure.
• The parking spaces directly in front of the hotel are accessible at any time. Please note that the gate to the inner courtyard is closed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
• Upon check-in, you will receive an access card for our hotel parking area.
• If no parking space is available, please contact our reception team.
• Public parking spaces within the village area are reserved exclusively for residents of Dürnstein.
• We accept no liability for vehicles parked on our premises.

• A covered bicycle parking area is available free of charge in our inner courtyard for your own bicycles.
• We accept no liability for bicycles parked on our premises.

• Depending on availability, you are welcome to rent bicycles directly at our reception or reserve them before your arrival.
• For your cycling tours through the Wachau, we provide 8 city bikes and 4 e-bikes.

• In our restaurant, we serve a rich breakfast buffet with regional specialities every day from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.
• Upon request, we are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements or intolerances.
• If you wish, we can also serve your breakfast in your room for an additional service fee of € 8. Please place your order by 8 pm on the evening before.

• Please vacate your room by 11:00 am at the latest on the day of departure and settle your hotel bill by this time.
• Please remember to return your room key to the reception desk upon departure.
• If you would like to enjoy Dürnstein a little longer after check-out, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage storage area at the reception.

• Our tap water is perfectly safe to drink and can be enjoyed at any time.
• It is of excellent quality and especially refreshing.

• Instead of a minibar in your room, a drinks and snack vending machine is available on the first floor near the exit to the monastery garden.
• You can purchase drinks and snacks there around the clock.
• Payment is only possible in cash.

• Please note that coaches cannot drive directly to the hotel due to the narrow streets.
• The coach stops at car park P1 near the Danube, approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
• We are happy to organise luggage transport from the car park to the hotel.
• Please provide us in advance with your expected arrival time and the coach driver’s telephone number.

Guest list & special requests

• Please send us a complete guest list including room allocation for all participants no later than 3 days before arrival.
• Please also inform us of any special requests or requirements of your guests so that we can best accommodate their individual needs.

Invoicing

• Please provide us with the desired billing address for the total invoice no later than 3 days before arrival.
• Please also let us know which services should be included on the group invoice and which services will be paid directly by guests on site.

Table reservations at Restaurant Richard Löwenherz

• If you are planning a meal for your group at our restaurant, we recommend making a reservation well in advance.
• Please consider our opening hours and our weekly closing days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• As a special highlight amidst the Wachau vineyards, we offer the opportunity to book an exclusive 3- or 4-course menu accompanied by a wine tasting. Our in-house sommelier will guide you through a selection of fine wines and share fascinating insights into the diversity and unique characteristics of Wachau wines.

Emergency card

• For your safety, we provide an emergency card at our reception where important medical information such as allergies, medical conditions, medication and emergency contacts can be recorded.
• In an emergency, this information can help emergency responders act faster and more effectively.
• We therefore recommend completing the emergency card.
• Your personal data will of course be treated confidentially and deleted after your stay.

Defibrillator (AED)

• A ready-to-use defibrillator (AED) is located at Hotel Richard Löwenherz, directly at the entrance to the restaurant terrace.
• The device is easy to use and guides you step by step through the process with clear instructions.
