The apricot originates from China. Alexander the Great brought the apricot to Greece and Italy. From the Roman Empire, it also found its way to the Wachau.
Today, the Wachau apricot is regarded as a European speciality and is transformed into delicious dessert creations here at our hotel. Come and enjoy the unique flavour of the Wachau apricot!
